Analyses of joint research on Biodiversity and Health
The ERA-NET BiodivERsA published a brochure analysing the results of the 2018-2019 BiodivERsA Call on biodiversity and its influence on animal, human and plant health. According to BiodivERsA: The “call appeared to be very timely in the context of the Covid-19 pandemics, as the selected projects will deepen our understanding of the relationships that exist between biodiversity and health, including the factors that drive pathogen emergence. This could help us to move health strategies from reaction to more anticipation.”
The brochure contains information on the call process as well as on the profile of both submitted and selected proposals. Under this call, 10 projects were selected for a total amount of funding of over EUR 11.8 million.
