Survey on challenges experienced with ABS regulation

The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has issued an invitation to participate in a survey on the challenges that users experience in complying with ABS regulations. For this, users of genetic resources are invited to answer a set of questions. The questionnaire will remain open until 15 December 2025 and can be accessed via the following link: Survey for users. To help you while filling in the survey, a PDF version of the list of questions is available.

The results of this survey should contribute to a better understanding of the challenges encountered by users in ABS implementation and possible ways to enhance implementation of national ABS frameworks. When the results are made public, information will not be linked to specific organizations.
